I found this hot cereal recipe in Primal Blueprint Quick and Easy Meals, by Mark Sisson and Jennifer Meier, an ebook I received during my Primal Health Coach Certification course. With just a few wholesome ingredients and minimal prep, you’ll have a warm, comforting bowl in no time. It’s easier than you think!
step 1 – Add ingredients to food processor.
Place the almonds, pecans, banana, cinnamon, salt, and almond or coconut milk in a food processor or blender.

Step 2 – Pulse in food processor.
Pulse the ingredients in the food processor or blender until your desired consistency is reached.

Step 3 – Warm the cereal.
Warm the cereal in the microwave or on the stove until it’s hot. Add fresh berries or more almond or coconut milk to taste.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almonds, whole or slivered
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk, plus more to taste
Instructions
