Walking is also a low impact and beginner-friendly workout. Anyone can do it. You don’t have to start with a 5-mile hike. A walk around the block is a great start if you’re not used to walking. Finally, walking can be such a wonderful mental escape, especially if you’re walking alone. I really enjoy going for a walk in my neighborhood when the sun is shining and I can just enjoy my surroundings.
